This is a two-day trip from Mangalore to Murudeshwara. We start with Kateel Temple, situated in the middle of the sacred Nandini River. Then we travel to the beautiful temple town, Udupi. It is famous for the Krishna Temple which was established as early as the 13th century. Kumbhashi, about 9 km to the south of Kundapur, is a sought after destination for its Vinayaka temple. From there we move towards Murudeshwara, which is one of the most famous places to visit in Karnataka. Apart from being a pilgrimage centre, it is also a popular beach resort. This is where we plan to stay the night. The next day we go back to Kollur Mookambika Temple, which is about 135 km from Mangalore and 80 km from Udupi. It is located in the beautiful valley of Kodachadri peak. Followed by Panambur beach, and then Mangaladevi temple or Kudroli temple.
