After which we travel to Madikeri Fort, which is a famous historical landmark. Then we travel towards Dubare, an important base for the Karnataka Forest Department’s elephants. Nisargadhama is a beautiful island off the state highway. The Buddhist Golden temple at Bylakuppe is a place worth visiting. Bylakuppe, along with Dharamsala, is the residing place for thousands of Tibetans, who have been living in exile for many decades. Talacauvery is the source of the river Kaveri, located on the Brahmagiri hill. Bhagamandala is a pilgrimage site situated in the scenic foothills of Talacauvery.
